Jennifer’s AFNR Journey
Jennifer is Executive Director at the Illinois Pork Producers Association. Jennifer was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated with honors with a BA in Political Science. In her spare time, she enjoys running, teaching yoga, and spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their two children, Flynn and Katharine.
What does an Executive Director do?
Overall management of the association including: Personnel, Finance, Public Policy, Unrestricted Revenue Development, Public Relations, Sustainability Projects, Pork PAC, Leadership Development, Business Relationships, and Board Business. Authorized agent for lobbyist. PAC reporting.
This position requires you to be a college graduate with a familiarity of agricultural issues, administrative and executive experience with an emphasis on financial management, experience with state and national legislative issues, and strong communication skills.
